The PD 3110 photochemical reactor is a derivatization device for aflatoxin and sulfonamides, which can be connected to any brand of liquid chromatograph. The basic principle is to increase the fluorescence intensity of the sample through the irradiation of ultraviolet light, and then detect it through the fluorescence detector. There is no need to use any derivatization reagents in the process of use, the use cost is low, and at the same time, the interference of the derivatization methods such as iodine chemistry on the liquid chromatography system is avoided. In the detection of aflatoxin, it has the characteristics of fast speed, low toxicity and simple operation. It has been added as a new aflatoxin test method in the 2015 edition of the Pharmacopoeia.
