Before operating the double plate thermal conductivity tester, these protocols must be known

The double-plate thermal conductivity tester uses a high-precision PT100 temperature sensor, a high-precision circuit consisting of imported electronic devices and a PC. It achieves data acquisition, processing, storage and other functions all automated. The equipment measurement time is short, accurate data, high degree of automation, low noise.

Product use.

At present, the double plate thermal conductivity tester mainly tests the thermal conductivity of various plate materials such as plastic, rubber, glass, fibre, benzene board, extruded plastic board, foamed concrete, hollow glass, wood board, etc. At the same time, it can also measure the thermal conductivity of various bad conductors of heat such as granular materials, bulk materials and soft materials with the help of fixtures.

Operating procedures of the double plate thermal conductivity tester.

1. Place 10 qualified specimens into the sample basket and place in the furnace chamber.

2. Connect the power cable, RTD and earth wire.

3. Connect the inlet, outlet and circulation water pipes.

4. Fill the thermostatic water bath with water.

5. Turn on the power switch, the indicator light is on, set the furnace temperature and water temperature to the desired position (in the water temperature control, the lower limit controls the compressor, the upper limit controls the heater, the upper set temperature ≤ the lower set temperature).

6. Turn on the mixing switch, the indicator light will be on and the mixer will work.

7. Select "single cooling", "single heating" or "hot and cold" as required.

"Single cooling" means that the apparatus only starts the cooling equipment, when the given temperature is exceeded, it automatically cools to the given temperature and then stops automatically.

"Single heat" means that the instrument only activates the heating equipment and automatically heats up to the given temperature when it is below the given temperature and then automatically stops.

"Hot and cold" means that when the water temperature exceeds the given temperature, the apparatus automatically cools and when the water temperature is lower than the given temperature, the apparatus automatically heats to ensure that the water temperature is at the required temperature.

8. Connect the wiring and check it once, turn on the power to raise the temperature at a rate of 2℃/min.

9. When the temperature reaches the measurement temperature, keep warm for 15 minutes and then toggle the handle so that the sample basket falls quickly into the iced water and cools for 5 minutes. If ice water is not available, the specimen is dropped into cold water. Each time the sample is dropped into the water, the water should be replaced, so that the water temperature remains constant.

10. Remove the specimen from the water, wipe it clean and place the unglazed and white-glazed specimens in a magenta alcohol solution to check for cracks. Place the brown glazed specimen in a thin layer of fine aluminium oxide powder in a tray and roll it back and forth several times or rub the specimen on the aluminium oxide powder by hand several times to check for cracks (if cracked, there is a white crack on the surface) and record in detail. Put the specimens that are not cracked into the furnace, heat them to the next specified temperature (20°C interval each time) and repeat the test until all ten specimens are cracked.

11. During the experiment, note the changes in room temperature and water stability and keep a record.
